Isavasyopanisad (A Study)

From the beginning of the world, man has been trying to find indestructible comfort and peace. As a consequence of broad based and multifarious principles, community differences have appeared in the religious world. From time immemorial, each community has seen diversity in its functioning. With constant practice, attachment and hatred, self-emphasis and egotism etc., defects born out of ignorance get eliminated with the passage of time and reality becomes perceptible and impact of differences gets attenuated. Unity becomes prevalent all over the place. This concept of unity has been portrayed in the leading Upanishads of the Vedic literature in such a magnificent way as you cannot find in any other literature. Upanishads are not independent treatises. As the Bhagwath Geeta is a part of the Mahabharat. Similarly, Upanishads are also parts of the Vedas (the branch of Veda is that text wherein a same portion of it is substituted by another word or some portion of it is added for the explanation of the mantras). Upanishads are the special part of Braham treatises and Aranyakas. Fixing the boundry line between the Aranyakas and Upanishads is an extremely difficult task.
