Yajurveda

First of all, I am thankful to the Supreme Lord. It is His bliss that I could finish this work without any hurdles. It is also the bliss of the Supreme Lord, that I got the association with some of the great Vedic intellectuals and could study the Vedic scriptures and change my life.

I am also thankful to my teachers, who taught me Vedic scriptures and Yoga. It is also the mercy of the Supreme Lord, that I was born into such a family and got the introduction to the literature of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, who had explained the scriptures as per the principle of our ancient seers from Brahmaa to Jaimini.

I am also thankful to my family members who cooperated with me to spare time to translate this commentary into English. These include my father Late Sh. Gopal Dass (who had diverted me to Yajna conception), and late Smt. Shanti Devi (my mother), Raman Arya (my wife), Manish Arya (my son), Kirti Arya (my daughter-in-law), Madhvi Arya (my daughter), her husband Jatin Ahuja, and her son Viraj Ahuja, and lastly Anaysha Arya (my grand- daughter).

I am also thankful to Acharya Ashish Arya Ji, Jind, India, engaged in the promotion and propagation of Vedic principles, as advised by Swami Dayanand Saraswati, who is used to praise the righteous efforts of other intellectuals. It is he, who had given an introduction of this work to the officials of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha America.

I am also thankful to Sh. Virendra Agarwal Ji, who is working selflessly for the promotion and propagation of Vedas, worked on the digitization of Vedas and provided composed and proof-read text of all four Vedas with the commentary of Swami Dayanand Ji in Sanskrit and Hindi (on Yajurveda, and Rigveda up to 7.61.2), and other intellectuals on the remaining part of four Vedas. He also provided a transliteration tool; with the result, the verses of Vedas were transliterated in Roman script. This commentary on four Vedas is available on our website www.vedvog.net.

Lastly, I am also thankful to Arya Pratinidhi Sabha America which recognized the importance of this work and became ready to provide all financial assistance for the publication of this work. I thank Sh. Bhuvnesh Khosla Ji, President, Sh. Whatever is good in this commentary is the result of my knowledge of Vedas and Vedic scriptures and whatever mistakes are left, that is due to my negligence. I request you all to cooperate and inform us of all such mistakes so that these can be corrected in the coming editions.
